LLanberis Lonely Tree
Dashing down to the caravan on a Friday night, traffic was a nightmare as always. So I decided to take a slight detour and pay a visit to the LLanberis Lonely Tree to see if I could get any good photos.

Following the visit back in July, we all knew this was going to be a must do, revisit. First time around, I was simply dumb struck by the amazing Seals Of Angel Bay in North Wales. However, this time I had a serioulsy problem…
It is pupping season, clearly as expected the beach area was cordoned off to protect the seals. However regardless of being cordoned off, you could certainly hear the variety of sounds, including growls, throaty “rups” and “rupes”, low frequency clicks, knocks, and roars. Clearly their vocalizations increased in intensity and rate during breeding season, specially from those large males sitting on their majestic large rock.
Whilst I could not actually get as close I had did last time I was here, thankfully I had my new Canon 75 – 300mm lens with me. Only draw back I could find was not being at eye level with the seals. Hopefully I have still managed to get a few good pictures and made up for it.
Believe me, Angel Bay is so easy to find. Simply pop either “Angel Bay” or “Porth Dyniewaid” into your satnav. Obvioulsy Angel Bay will get you as close as possible, which is a private housing area with mostly open parking, free of charge. The actual entrance to the walk does however have restricted parking zones.
Once you are parked up, simply walk up towards the large hill on your right. A good solid walking path leads you right upto the cove. You can bear left or right along the path, but going straight ahead will lead you directly to the cove where the seals appear to live.
Do keep in mind, there are certainly no promises the seals will appear or show themselves for you. There are wild animlas after all.

Dashing down to the caravan on a Friday night, traffic was a nightmare as always. So I decided to take a slight detour and pay a visit to the LLanberis Lonely Tree to see if I could get any good photos.
I woke up today and thought to myself, what I am going to do today?
As I leisurely strolled along the shoreline, the stillness of the night enveloped the scene in an almost surreal tranquility Point of Ayr Lighthouse Summer Sunset. Almost as if time itself had momentarily paused to appreciate the quiet beauty before me. The darkness of the sky was so deep and velvety that it contrasted sharply with the solitary silhouette of the lighthouse, which stood tall and unwavering, a silent guardian against the encroaching night.
An amazing little wander around the old quarry and lake at Dorothea Quarry in the welsh village of Talysarn in the Snowdonia National Park region. Within minutes of arriving, calmness and serene views were springing up everywhere.
After settling into the starting point near Pont-y-Pair, the trail gently dips into the lush greenery that lines the riverbank. The air is filled with the gentle murmur of flowing water and the distant calls of songbirds…
As the gentle sea breeze whispers through the rigging and the distant call of seagulls echoes across the bay, stepping aboard the Galeon Andalucia feels like embarking on a voyage back in time.
As always, watching the Dinas Dinlle Golden Hour Sunset from the caravan window and just knew had to get out there with the camera…
